turned 16, my mom got my dad's old Ford Explorer (it was purple, he thought it was like blue or something. That's a different story though) I inherited the 1992 Ford AeroStar. BUT, it was going to be donated to the Kidney Foundation or something because my parents thought it was a piece of trash. Sure, you had to put transmission fluid in it before you drove it, and you had to let it run for like 10 minutes before you drove it every day, but it was the best. My friends, Lindsey and Angie and I would take it to A&W on lunch period and hit this bump they had in the parking lot at full speed. We would fly that van through the air and land hard. It was so much fun! I think that was the only reason that we went to A&W for lunch everyday! Eventually, the kidney foundation took the car from me, and I was so sad. I loved hanging out in that car. I'd pack all my friends in there and drive everywhere in that thing. My next car was a 1986 Honda Accord LX-i. I bought this car from a lady that worked with my dad. It had a manual transmission, so I
basically learned how to drive it that first day. It was crazy driving that thing that first day. I remember I stalled it in the Carls Jr drive thru! Anywho. We called this car; "LeButt" the van, was known as; "LeBus" after the bus company. So it seemed only perfect that we name this car LeButt because it really did have a nice bum. One night while I was out driving like the maniac that I am, I ran a red light and hit a drunk driver. He took off and a police officer that was at the intersection went after him, that's how I know he was drunk. Anywho, I went to a junk yard to get the parts that I needed to fix my car. I bought I black eyelid (the casing for my headlight) and a blue fender. Then my door handle broke, so I got a silver one of those. My car was sort of a champagne color to begin with. My grandma paid for me to get it painted for my 17th birthday. I got it painted black. It was beautiful! Anything that broke on that car, I fixed it. I loved working on my car. It was lots of fun. Then I was driving to work one day and it wouldn't stay in gear. I pulled off to the side of the road, and my dad came and picked me up. My dad is a big believer on, "if its broken, buy a new one!" So instead of fixing my car, we bought a new one.
"I didn't know they allowed jet-ski's on the freeway!" If it was at all windy outside, I'd be blown across the road, this car was light as a feather. I grew to love and appreciate this car though. I had some subwoofers in the back and nice speakers, I swear the bass in my car would make it bounce to its destinations. I loved it. But then, last June, I blew the head gasket. I say that -I- did that because if I had been paying attention to the temp gauge, I would've noticed it over heating. It was time to get a new car anyway because I had just found out I was pregnant, and i would need a safer car. I love this car, in fact I still own it and it is for sale if anyone is interested!! Its fun to drive. I got the windows tinted, its so nice! It doesn't get blown across the freeway by a gust of wind and it handles very well. However, I have to scoot the passenger seat forward in order to get Noah's car seat in the backseat, and I have to practically jam the stroller into the trunk. Its not going to last very long as a family car. So bought a new car! Yep, I now have three car payments as I am waiting for my Subaru to sell.

I love the television show Roseanne. You probably think I'm nuts. But here is a little back round. Growing up, I wasn't allowed to watch it, it was considered "trash". You see, my dad went to high school with Roseanne Barr, he wasn't a big fan of her to say the least. I didn't really ever have a desire to watch it when I was growing up. Everything my parents said was always the truth. So when they said that Roseanne was a no good show, I took their word. Flash forward 15 years. I start dating a handsome man with the name of Scotty B, one day he did something unthinkable, he put the TV on Nick-at-Nite and Roseanne was on. "Ugh! this is trash, change the channel" Scott declined, and I was forced to watch the show or leave the room. I watched it, and when another episode came on right after, I watched that one as well. I was hooked. Now, I own the first four seasons. My family thinks that I've lost my mind, I'm sure. I bet my dad has considered disowning me. The reason I don't own any seasons after the 4th is because it almost became a different TV show towards the end of the 4th season. The show was more cynical and just not as funny.
when he woke up for the day at 8:30 and let me sleep in! I woke up at 9:30 and went downstairs to where Scott and Noah were hanging out. Noah was sitting on the couch holding a card that said, "mom" on it. The handwriting looked like he wrote it all by himself, I have a sneaking suspicion that it was really Scott that wrote it... Anywho, the card was a picture of Lionus from Charlie Brown holding his blankie, it said, "There are two things that always make me feel better, this and you!" Scott picked that card out because Noah sort of looks like Lionus because of his crazy hair and also because I have a baby blanket from growing up that I'm still attached to. I don't sleep with it or anything, but he is folded up by my bed just in case a monster is to make an appearance and I need protection.
